AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
Affiliate Disclosure – So, what does this mean?
I have chosen to share my life experiences, skills and knowledge with others in a blog venue. Over the years many people have told me I need to share my stories. I have written many articles and blogs in professional settings. Now, I have been led to share this with you all in this type of venue.
That being said, blogging comes along with lots of expenses that need to be covered. These expenses include hosting, software, Internet, computers and more. So, I’ve developed an affiliate and sponsorship policy, as detailed below:
- I do not promote items or services I don’t like or use. So, if you see I am recommending a product or service, it’s because I use it, love it, find value in it, and truly believe you will find it useful for the purposes I list. Your trust means a lot to me, and I would never post anything to violate that trust.
- I have sought out specific affiliate programs for reliable products and services that I already use. If I use something that does not already have an affiliate program, I continue to use it (this ties back into the whole “it’s impossible for me to recommend something I don’t like or use” scenario). If you see me recommending a product, you can be sure I used it first and joined the affiliate program after because I loved it — not the other way around.
- I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
If you have any questions at all about this policy, please feel free to contact me.
